With exposure to sunlight and oxygen, these compounds are converted into low levels of hydrogen peroxide, modifying your pond's chemistry and improving water quality. Each bale lasts approximately 3 months. Install new bale 3 weeks prior to removing old bale for continued coverage. 1lb bale treats
