Mezcal Vago Cuishe (Master Distiller Jarquin) 49.9% 700ml la-salamandre The Wine Front August 2016Mezcal Vago Cuishe (Master Distiller Jarquin) is an artisanal mezcal made from the wild agave Cuishe (a sub variety of Agave Karwinskii) in Miahuatln, Oaxaca. It is produced by renowned master distiller Emigdio Jarqun Ramre. Aromas: Earthy notes of straw, wet soil, and fresh greens often dominate the nose. Other aromas can include vegetal hints of tomato leaf and eucalyptus, with some batches also showing cooked agave, white pepper, and citrus.
