Knost shaped this log under Russell's Brotherhood label, a throwback to Newport Beach's surfing history of the 1970's when the Russell Crew was referred to as The Brotherhood and was made up of a radical bunch of craftsmen and shredders alike including Russell Brown, Shawn Stussy, Jeff Timpone and progressive chargers like Junior Beck, Lenny Foster, Billy Pells, Paul Heussenstamm, and
