Michel Couvreur Unexpected II 10 yrs French Barley BIO 50% 700ml kellerei-kaltern which continues to emphasise Porseleinberg'sThe Unexpected N2 is a 10 year old whiskey from the Vanessa variety of barley, aged in three types of casks, Oloroso, Amontillado and Pedro Ximenez, bottled at 50% natural strength. Tasting notes Nose: Almonds, nuts, raisins, cocoa and floral and vegetal. Palate: Rich, unctuous on candied fruits (figs, raisins, orange zest), marzipan, hazelnuts, mocha. Finish: Warm, intense, on citrus fruits, roasted almonds, and spices (nutmeg, cloves, cinnamon).
